Overlay

An overlay can be your best friend if you think your only option is a brand new parking lot. An overlay can provide a longer life for two-thirds the cost.

• In the overlay process, new pavement 1.5”-2.0” thick is placed over the top of existing asphalt, often with a fabric interlayer.
• Builds on what you have already invested.
• Blackjack paving insures that all transitions (manholes, curb and gutters, etc.) are flush or raised to the proper height.
• Blackjack paving also insures that all voids such as pot holes are filled prior to the overlay.
